After hitting us with the song of the summer (best believe Manchild is on repeat), Sabrina Carpenter has dropped another bomb: a brand new album called Man’s Best Friend is coming August 29, 2025.

Yes, even though Short n’ Sweet just came out in August 2024, Sabrina said she was too inspired not to go back to the studio. In her words: “Life was really happening to me and inspiration struck.”

But now the internet thinks something major is brewing behind the scenes, like, Taylor Swift collab level major. Swifties and Carpenters have worked together to find all the proof and I can’t lie, the receipts are lowkey convincing. Here’s every receipt and theory that suggest Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift are about to drop a collab:

Clue #1: The Matching Fonts

Swifties immediately clocked that the font on Taylor’s official merch site magically changed the same day Sabrina announced her album. And guess what? It’s the exact font Sabrina’s been using for her Manchild visuals. Coincidence? I think not. Take a close look at the ‘S’…

Clue #2: The Coffee Stains

This is giving deep cut, but it’s real: when Taylor announced that she’d reclaimed her masters on June 2, the message had a coffee ring effect on it. Flash forward to Sabrina’s Man’s Best Friend announcement email: urm, also coffee rings. Is this some artsy Easter egg or just a mutual love of coffee (or should I say Espresso)? Either way, Swifties and Carpenters are spiraling.

Clue #3: The Website Stamps & Symbols

Let’s talk attention to detail: Both Taylor and Sabrina’s websites have started using super similar visuals: vintage stamps, academy-style logos, old-school icons. The aesthetic match-up is giving “collab project branding” energy, and fans are not letting this go unnoticed.

Clue #4: The Capital Letters

One super observant fan noticed that Sabrina’s email had random sUsPiCiOuS capitalized letters that might spell out ‘TS,’ ‘DD,’ and ‘CS.’ Now, this could be a total reach, but ‘TS’ = Taylor Swift, duh! As for the ‘DD’ and ‘CS’… I’ll leave that down to you guys to figure it out. Whatever the case, these Swifties and Carpenters are on their decoding sh*t.

Clue #5: Taylor’s ‘August’ Song

Right after Sabrina announced her album, which drops in August, Taylor Nation used August (the song!) in their Summer Collection 2025 promo reel. They could’ve used something 1989-coded, especially since new 1989 merch was involved. But they didn’t. So… subtle co-sign?

Clue #6: Taylor’s Insta Love

The final clue? Taylor literally supported Sabrina’s album announcement on Instagram. The queen reposted it on her story writing, “OMG I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!! @sabrinacarpenter SO PROUD OF YOU GIRL!!”

Now if that’s not giving “I’m literally featured on this,” then I’ll be damned (okay, we might be overreacting here, but a girl can dream!).

So, a Sabrina x Taylor collab isn’t exactly confirmed, but Swifties and Carpenters are buzzing with theories and recepits. And with Sabrina calling Man’s Best Friend her “most effortless” album yet, maybe it was effortless because a certain someone helped out. And I oop!

Stay tuned, Pop Tellers. August might come with surprises.
