Wake up bestie, Jacob Elordi and Olivia Jade Giannulli’s on-again, off-again romance has finally reached a definite end!
The Euphoria star, 28, and the influencer, 26, are reportedly not getting back together after briefly rekindling their relationship in September, a source told People. “It’s fully over,” the insider said.
Olivia’s Focus Is Elsewhere
Interestingly, Olivia seems more shaken by her parents’ separation than her split from Jacob. Lori Loughlin, the Full House actress, and fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli recently announced the end of their 28-year marriage, and Olivia is reportedly more concerned about her dad than her ex.
“She’s fine about the Jacob split; she’s more upset about what’s going on with her father,” the source added.
Processing the August Breakup
A few weeks after officially ending things with Jacob in August (per People), Olivia opened up to her followers about going through “uncomfortable changes” and seeking therapy to navigate the aftermath. She shared in a video:
“I think summer gets painted as this, like, carefree, perfect, kind of month or two, and I’m here to remind you that it’s totally normal if you’re feeling a little off or a little nervous during big transitions or seasonal transitions or whatever it may be.”
Rumors of a Rekindling Last Month
Earlier in September, Olivia was spotted with Glen Powell in NYC, sparking rumors of a new romance. But just a few days later, she reunited with Jacob at the Toronto International Film Festival, showing up to support him at the premiere of his horror film, Frankenstein.
Elordi posed solo on the red carpet before meeting Olivia and escorting her up the stairs to the Princess of Wales Theatre.
A History of On-Again, Off-Again
Jacob and Olivia’s relationship dates back to 2021, when they were first spotted grabbing coffee in Los Angeles. After four years of a rollercoaster romance, they reportedly ended their on-and-off relationship in August. The brief September rekindling now seems like a last hurrah — but sources confirm that this chapter is truly closed.
