After weeks of breakup rumors, Ari basically said plot twist(!) by dropping a cozy new photo with Ethan from the Wicked: For Good London premiere on Nov. 10. Subtle? Not exactly. Effective? Absolutely.

In the now-viral Insta post from Nov. 11, Ariana — serving elegant witch energy in a black strapless gown — is seen smiling next to Ethan and his SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical costar Danny Skinner. Everyone’s grinning, arms around each other, looking like they’re doing pretty well together.
Translation: if this is a breakup, someone forgot to tell their faces.
Ariana didn’t just show love to her man, she also shared photos with her Wicked bestie Cynthia Erivo (the Elphaba to her Glinda), plus adorable snaps with her fam: mom Joan, dad Edward, and brother Frankie. Her caption? Simple but sweet: “Thank you, London.”

Fans had been spiraling (as usual) after noticing Ari and Ethan didn’t take many pics together on the Wicked red carpet. Cue the stan theories.
The wildest theory popped up back in September all because Ariana took a photo with Rosé from BLACKPINK at the VMAs. According to X detectives, anyone who snaps a pic with Rosé is basically signing up for a breakup. Yep, it’s called the “Rosé curse,” and fans swore Ari and Ethan were next. (Classic internet chaos.)
But Ari’s latest post seems to be her way of saying, we’re good, babes. Sometimes you don’t need a full PR statement when a carousel post can do the job.
