From one bad romance to another, the best-selling female artist who wows all with her powerful performances and controversial moments has had her fair share of heartbreaks.
She’s actually kissed a number of frogs before finally finding her prince, Michael Polansky (more on him in a minute). Frogs being, Taylor Kinney, Christian Carino, and rumor has it: Angelina Jolie (!!).

Gaga first found love with bar owner Lüc Carl in 2005, back when she was known as just Stefani Germanotta. But as the pop icon rose to fame, a strain was put on their relationship, forcing them to go their separate ways.
Come five years later, and Gaga and Lüc were eager to give their relationship another try. In 2010, she confessed to Rolling Stone that “she’s never really loved anyone” like Lüc and that their relationship had “shaped” her.
Just a few months later, and Gaga was left heartbroken once again after learning that Lüc was still seeing his girlfriend.
Rumored Ex: Robert Fusari

Lady Gaga was linked to Grammy-award winning record producer, Robert Fusari in 2006 after he helped her find her stage name and bag her a record deal.
Despite the huge age gap (Gaga was 20, Fusari was 38), the two grew close (according to Fusari), but the relationship all came crashing down after seven months.
This led to a series of accusations and lawsuits, where Fusari claimed he never received money for his connection to Gaga, while she hinted in interviews that she was sexually assaulted by an “older man,” who many fans speculated to be him.

Well, because of her openness, fans were quick to assume that she hooked up with her make-up artist, Tara Savelo, who she met her on the Bad Romance video set. Several cozy photos later, the two were clearly becoming inseparable.
But shortly after, Savelo fell off the scene, as it was reported she had health complications. The pair haven’t been pictured together since.

The singer had a short-lived romance with model, Speedy, after they met on the set of her Love Game music video in 2009.
The pair split later in the year, leaving Gaga heartbroken. Speaking of her ex-boyfriend, she said, “Do you know the feeling of your heart being so terribly broken you can feel the blood dripping out? When you have felt this, only then you know how I’m doing.”

Her ex-lover claimed that the breakup was due to Gaga’s infidelity when a picture leaked of her kissing another man while they were still together.
Then again, in the Lady Gaga: The Unauthorized Biography, it’s reported that the duo split because Speedy was too jealous over the make-out scenes in her Paparazzi clip.

Mother Monster started dating this fashion designer after meeting at a sushi restaurant. Although they had a strong physical connection, Gaga decided to end their romantic relationship and form a business one instead.
“Dada is quite brilliant and we were crazy lovers, but I stopped it when we discovered what a strong creative connection we had,” Gaga said in an interview with Evening Standard.
It seems like the businesswoman played her cards right in this love match, as she then appointed the creative genius as the director of her fashion label, Haus of Gaga.

The Joanne singer was linked to Hollywood icon, Angelina Jolie in 2010, after claims of the two having an affair made headlines.
News outlets were reporting that the Tomb Raider star was “obsessed” with Gaga, leading many to believe she may have cheated on Brad Pitt, her husband at the time. But wait, it gets more juicy! A source close to the star told celebrity journalist, Ian Halperin, that the two actresses had a secret hook-up at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel!
No comments were made by either Angelina or Lady Gaga regarding the crazy claims (obviously).
Ex Fiancé: Taylor Kinney

If there’s one famous face that Lady Gaga is associated with, it’s her ex-boyfriend Taylor Kinney.
The Born This Way singer has a long-lasting dating history with The Vampire Diaries star: five whole years, to be exact, which involved plenty of adorable selfies together, red carpet appearances, and even an engagement proposal.
Gaga and Kinney first laid eyes on each other on the set of her You and I video where Kinney ironically played Gaga’s lover. The pair seemed inseparable, and the actor proposed to her on Valentines Day in 2015 with an enormous heart-shaped ring.
Sadly, the engagement didn’t last long and the pair broke up in 2016. In her documentary, Gaga: Five Foot Two, the musician admitted that they were fighting a lot, and that her role in A Star Is Born was to blame for their split.
“My love life has just imploded. I sold 10 million [records] and lost Matt. I sold 30 million and lost Luke. I did a movie and lose Taylor. It’s like a turnover. This is the third time I’ve had my heart broken like this,” she said.
The split announcement came on Instagram when Gaga wrote,
“Taylor and I have always believed we are soul mates. Just like all couples, we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. After they appeared together at red carpet events, it was rumored they were engaged, but the news wasn’t made official until almost a year later when Gaga called Carino her “fiancé” at ELLE’s Women in Hollywood gala.
Just when we thought this romance was the real deal for the Chromatica singer, the duo split up in February 2019, after their relationship apparently “just didn’t work out.”

Soon enough, they were photographed at several public events together like the Super Bowl in 2020, and the Saturday Night Live afterparty in 2023. Gaga even confessed she had “stupid love” for her man in an Instagram post and she called Polansky “the love of my life” on MSNBC’s Morning Joe.
Fast-forward to 2024, and Gaga was heard introducing Polansky as “my fiancé” in a TikTok posted by Attal on July.
