I’m stunned by this list. How is it possible that Rihanna is #2? I respect her as an artist and her talent is not in question, but how has she outsold Adele? Céline Dion? Mariah Carey?!

All these lists seem to overlook Nana Mouskouri who has released over 200 albums and sold 350m – more than Madonna. I wonder why that is, as it doesn’t take that much research. Maybe it’s generational as she started much earlier than most on this list.

Not a huge fan of Swift, but she is very young and started much earlier than Madonna. Swift is a music-hit producing machine and she can easily take the top spot as much as I would like to see Madonna keep it.
