Hello, hi, hey ho! Lana Del Rey has been linked to a new man, and the internet is losing its freakin’ mind over it!
The Summertime Sadness singer was spotted backstage at Leeds Festival in the U.K. hand-in-hand with a so-called Jeremy Dufrene.
And as it turns out, I discovered that the pair actually met back in 2019. According to Jeremy’s Instagram post in 2019, he “ran across” Lana Del Rey at one of his “airboat tours.”
Lana also shared a Facebook post boasting about this boat tour in the same year, with the caption, “Jeremy lemme be captain at Arthur’s Air Boat Tours x”:
Fast-forward to 2024 and Lana headed back to the swamp in May ahead of her appearance at Hangout Music Festival in Alabama. She shared this pic on Instagram, calling Jeremy “my guy.”
Ooof! The secrecy! How Lana managed to hide this guy from our preeing eyes all this time, WE DON’T KNOW.
The pair have even been spotted doing touristy-things in London, shopping at Harrods and eating together at a local pub (via The Daily Mail), so something tells us this might be the real deal for Lana, guys. She might be dating a swamp boat captain – our girl *may* have found love in a man who gives alligator tours on an airboat in Louisiana. No probs with that at all! As long as she’s happy and keeps serving us iconic hits, I’m good.
Whether they’ve been secretly dating since 2019 or recently got loved up is unbeknownst to me, but one thing’s for sure – fans are real happy for her.
