Dune star and We Live in Time actress Florence Pugh has confirmed that she’s in a relationship. As much as I wish it was with Andrew Garfield — because that would be adorable — it isn’t. But I’m still super stoked about this lovely lady’s new potential boyfriend…
Florence Pugh is actually *probably* dating British actor Finn Cole, Pop Tellers.
In a September British Vogue interview, Flo basically soft-launched her new relationship, by saying:
“We are figuring what we actually are. And I think for the first time, I’m not allowing myself to go on a roller coaster. I’m allowing myself to take time to let something evolve and let it be completely real to its core, as opposed to racing into that.”
She continued, “Falling [in love] is the most amazing feeling, but unfortunately if that’s the only thing that you know in a relationship, then that’s the thing that you chase. That’s not gonna last.”
Florence Pugh and Finn Cole Have Been “Secretly Dating”
Now, how do I know Flo’s mystery man is indeed Finn Cole? I’ve done some investigative research, obvs.
The Sun reported early on in September that she is “secretly dating” actor Finn Cole, and the duo were spotted leaving The Perfect Couple’s London premiere after-party together.
Add to that a juicy tip from an insider, who told the Daily Mail, “I saw them holding hands at the after-party at The Hoxton hotel.”
DeuxMoi also received a bunch of submissions from onlookers who saw Florence and Finn together in London on September 15. Apparently, “She was gazing into his eyes [and] looked very in love.”
Oh and they also partied together at Glastonbury Festival earlier this year. A Reddit user even claims fans saw her at Finn’s theatre debut of his new play in London.
They Support Each Other on Social Media
Florence left a supportive comment under Finn’s July 17 post, which showcased a first look of him in Red Speedo.
“Oh my gosh this is unbelievably exciting,” Florence wrote under his shirtless pic. Her second comment said, “Granny Pat wants to come.. #obvi.”
Urm, so Finn is in acquaintance with “Granny Pat…” DOES THIS MEAN HE’S ALREADY MET THE FAMILY?!
Finn has also been hitting the Like button on Flo’s Instagram posts, just like this recent one shared on September 9.
Florence Pugh and Finn Cole Have Been Friends for Years
This is a total ‘friends became lovers’ scenario, guys!
It appears Florence and Finn (why does that sound so good?!) have been friends for quite a while before they struck up a romance.
As Elle reported, Flo has actually been liking Finn’s Instagram posts since 2017. A whopping seven years ago!
Who is Florence’s Boyfriend Finn Cole?
For y’all uncultured folk, Finn Cole is one of the many leading (and talented) actors in popular TV show, Peaky Blinders.
Other than playing Michael Gray on Peaky Blinders, Finn also starred in 2019’s Dreamland, alongside Margot Robbie, and in the TV show Animal Kingdom.
He grew up in South West London’s Kingston, and is 28 years-old, which makes him the same age as Florence Pugh.
Let’s not forget Florence notoriously dated Scrubs actor Zach Braff, between 2019 and 2022, who was 21 years her senior.
Anyway, what she said about her new relationship sounds healthy! I just hope she’s truly happy.
