It looks like Sabrina’s nonsense Christmas is going to be a solo act this year. Yep, the singer and actor Barry Keoghan have officially called it quits after a year of dating.
The breakup was reported on Tuesday (December 3rd) by People magazine, after a source told them, “They are both young and career-focused, so they’ve decided to take a break.”
Shocked? I’m afraid not. I mean, we *kinda* thought this already happened back in September.
Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan first sparked romance rumors back in December 2023, and by June, Barry was starring in Sab’s Please, Please, Please music video (talk about a collab!).
But recently, whispers of their split started circulating online, and now an insider has confirmed it. Of course, it didn’t take long for fans to put on their detective hats and start piecing the puzzle together.

And here’s where things get real spicy: according to the blind item, the cheating’s been going on for months with a so-called “blonde, LA-based influencer who’s big on TikTok.”
Naturally, fans went into full FBI mode and started dropping names like Alexa Adam, Ava Chick, Tana Mongeau, and Breckie Hill.
But Breckie? She had everyone raising their eyebrows. Sis was reposting TikToks about the breakup, which gave major suspicious behavior vibes.

Some Carpenters have flipped the script, speculating that maybe Sabrina’s the one trying to leave quite an impression on someone new.
Enter Marcello Hernández, the SNL comedian who went viral with that Espresso-inspired sketch playing his character “Domingo.” Oh, and he also showed up at Sab’s Short n Sweet Tour stop in LA on November 17th (and had fans shipping them.)
Sab even “arrested” him during the show for being “too hot,” throwing playful flirty banter his way and referencing the Espresso parody sketch.
Sounds wild, but lowkey, don’t they kind of work?

An insider told People that the two are “taking a break” from their relationship, because they’re both “young and career-focused.” Neither Sabrina nor Barry’s reps have commented yet, but fans are already side-eyeing that explanation.
