Despite all the noise, plenty of people have come to Kylie’s defense, calling out the misogyny in these comments. They also argue that fans are way too obsessed with building a fantasy version of Timothée based purely on basically, Pinterest vibes.
Did Kylie Change Her Style for Timothée?
Haters have also been quick to judge Kylie and how she has completely changed herself for her boyfriend. Sure, the socialite has been rocking more low-key outfits and lighter makeup looks since 2023, but according to her, this transformation has way more to do with her than with him.
In an interview with The New York Times, Kylie revealed that her style shifted after reconnecting with herself post-baby number two: “It takes me a while after I have a baby to feel like myself again,” she explained. “Then you get your body back, and you’re like, ‘Wait, the trends have changed.’ ” (And honestly, isn’t the whole clean girl aesthetic totally the trend right now?)
When asked about the theories that she’s “mirroring Timothée’s aesthetic,” Kylie simply said she wasn’t going to comment on personal matters. Fair enough.
The couple definitely keeps things more low-key when it comes to their relationship—probably because, let’s face it, the internet can get a little too weird and intense about it.
