Justin Bieber has shared his thoughts on ‘cheating.’ And like any other day on X (formally Twitter), fans are reaching by connecting it back to his ex, Selena Gomez.
I mean, what’s a Bieber story without bringing up Selena Gomez (and vice versa) these days, hey?
During a Twitch streaming, Justin was videoed saying, “If you even think of a woman with lust, it’s the same thing as actually doing it… committing adultery or whatever… like it’s the same thing. If it even crosses your mind for one second…”
Beliebers and Selenators Go to War…Again
The now-viral video has Selenators playing detective, thinking this statement has something to do with his own guilty conscience surrounding his former relationship with Selena. For years, people have said he cheated on the singer and that he’s still secretly hung up on her despite being married to Hailey.
They’re convinced he’s lowkey confessing that he did cheat. Their logic? “If he’s thinking about it, he probably did it.”
On the other hand, Bieber’s fans say his statement just proves how loyal and God-fearing he is, praising him for being such a faithful husband.
Bieber Cheating Rumors Explained
Justin’s no stranger to cheating rumors. For years, fans have accused him of two-timing Selena with Hailey — claims Hailey has denied more than once. In a 2022 episode of Call Her Daddy, Hailey clarified, “I can say, period, point blank, I was never with him when he was in a relationship with anybody — that’s the end of it.”
And then there’s the Kendall Jenner angle. Back in the Jelena era, rumors flew that Justin hooked up with Kendall while still with Selena—which is crazy to me, considering Kendall and Hailey are literally BFFs. Like, is kissing Justin Bieber their common interest? Highly doubtful!
Why It’s Blowing Up Now
Justin’s comments are hitting right in the middle of renewed tension between Hailey and Selena, from subtle unfollows to messy fan edits bringing up old drama. Just last week the girls were feuding over their competing beauty brands.
So obviously, people are reading way into his words. It sounds like Bieber is just quoting the Bible, not confessing. Sometimes a quote about faith… is just a quote about faith.
