Taylor Swift pulled up to The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Wednesday night (Dec. 10) and let’s just say it felt like a mini holiday for Swifties.
Other than talking about her engagement, she was mainly there hyping up her new Disney+ drops — The End of an Era and Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show — both landing on the platform this Friday (Dec. 12).
Mark your calendars, set your alarms, do what you must.
It also marked her first Colbert visit since 2021, so the energy was already giving sweet reunion.
During the chat, Colbert hit Taylor with the classic question he’s asked legends like Dolly Parton, Elton John, Paul Simon, and Bruce Springsteen: her top five songs… ever. No pressure or anything.
Taylor Swift Name Drops a ‘Red’ Song Real Quick
Taylor, being Taylor, couldn’t commit to a full five (relatable queen), but she did immediately crown one track the ultimate fave. Drumroll, please:
All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version) from the Red re-release.
“I’m gonna say that I require a little bit of time to appreciate my work in a way and it’s constantly changing, right?” the best-selling artist said. “I think number one is All Too Well the ten minute version.”
She Couldn’t Pick Out of ‘TLOAS’ Songs
From there, Taylor shifted into her Life of a Showgirl era, explaining that the entire album is living rent-free in her mind right now. She hinted that the songs from that project are really speaking to her creatively in this moment, which makes sense, it’s her newest baby.
“I’m really obsessed with the Life of a Showgirl right now, the whole album,” Tay added.
Taylor Says This ‘Folklore’ Song is a Fave
And then, Swifties got another gem: she casually dropped that one of her forever faves is Mirrorball from folklore. Honestly, this checks out — the track has always been one of her most delicate, shimmering masterpieces.
“I can’t really do any of the others, except I will say somewhere in this list is going to be a song called Mirrorball from the folklore album,” Swift told Colbert.

If she ever actually gives us a full top five, we might need emotional support. But for now, I’ll take the crumbs.
