So here’s what happened: Hulu recently posted a throwback clip/photo from the TV show High Fidelity featuring Zoë’s character, Robyn Brooks, alongside the caption:
“Robyn Brooks definitely has Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally on her playlist. Now streaming: #HighFidelity”
I mean, the Harry Styles reference is plain as day. The mention of his recently released fourth studio album is there—and well, like, Zoë, it absolutely made us cringe.
Instead of playing along (as Hulu wanted), Zoë replied directly to the post with:
“this is tacky @hulu.”
And whew. The internet exploded almost instantly.
Why Was Zoë So Mad Over the Harry Styles Mention?
Zoë wasn’t necessarily offended by Harry being mentioned — but more by the fact that Hulu seemed to be using her rumored relationship for engagement bait years after canceling her show.
Like…imagine canceling someone’s series after one season and then randomly reviving the character online just to farm likes off her love life. I can kind of see why she’d side-eye it.
And considering Zoë is usually super private about relationships, the public Harry references probably hit differently.

Zoë Kravitz and Harry Styles were first romantically linked back in 2025 after being spotted arm-in-arm multiple times in Rome.
Since then, their relationship has basically become one giant soft launch. No dramatic red carpet debut, no hard-launch couple interviews, just paparazzi pics, lowkey outings, and us analyzing every blurry ring photo like it’s FBI evidence.
Over the past several months, engagement rumors have gone into overdrive after Zoë was seen wearing a massive ring on that finger. News outlets reported they were officially engaged, even though neither of them has confirmed anything publicly.
But recently, we also noticed Zoë seemingly trying to hide the ring during outings and especially at the Met Gala, which only made the speculation even louder.
At this point, nobody really knows what’s going on behind the scenes, but one thing’s clear: we are absolutely obsessed with reading between the lines of every tiny interaction involving these two.
