kris jenner admits using ozempic

For years now, people online have been convinced the Kardashian-Jenner family has been secretly living off Ozempic. From Kylie’s transformation, every snatched red carpet appearance, to Kim’s tiny waist selfies, somehow turns into another “they’re definitely on Ozempic” debate online.

So when momager, Kris Jenner finally spoke openly about trying Ozempic herself, we all immediately paid attention.

During an appearance on the SHE MD Podcast, Kris revealed that she actually did try the viral weight-loss medication—but apparently the experience was not exactly glamorous.

“I did not do, like, an Ozempic,” Jenner explained. “I tried it. We tried it once when no one knew what it was and it made me really sick.”

If you somehow escaped the Ozempic discourse, the medication was originally created to help people with type 2 diabetes manage blood sugar levels. But it exploded in popularity after celebrities and influencers began using GLP-1 medications for weight loss, turning Ozempic into one of the most talked-about drugs in Hollywood.

And naturally, the Kardashian-Jenners have been at the center of those conversations for ages.

Kris went on to explain that the side effects hit her hard almost immediately. “I can’t work anymore. I can’t. I’m so sick. I can’t, like nauseous,” she recalled telling her doctor.

According to Kris, her doctor then suggested trying something different instead. “So she goes, ‘Okay, okay. Let’s try something else.’”

Instead of continuing with Ozempic, Kris said she eventually found another option that worked better for her.

“I realized that a peptide injection was really great for me,” Jenner shared. “And then I follow it up with supplements.”

Injectable peptides have become increasingly popular recently, especially in wellness and fitness spaces. They’re basically short chains of amino acids that some people use for things like weight management, recovery, or performance support. But medical experts have also warned that some peptide treatments still haven’t been heavily researched and can come with side effects of their own.

Still, the internet is definitely going to focus on one thing here: after years of speculation surrounding the Kardashian-Jenner family and Ozempic, one of them has finally admitted to at least trying it.

I already know TikTok is about to have a field day with this one.
