Briar University caused quite a ruckus at the beginning of the summer. Off Campus on Amazon Prime arrived as one of the most anticipated BookTok adaptations of the year — and it did not disappoint.
Based on Elle Kennedy’s beloved series, Season 1 followed the slow-burn romance between hockey captain Garrett Graham and good girl Hannah Wells, played by Belmont Cameli and Ella Bright. The popular show blew up the charts, reached 36 million global viewers in its first 12 days, and proved once and for all that the BookTok audience shows up when the story is right.
During the Season 1 press tour, we found out that as soon as the show premiered, the cast would go straight back into filming mode. But what we did not expect was to hear that we would also get a Season 3 leak so soon. Here is your full update.
‘Off Campus’ Season 2 — What We Know
Season 2 Is Already Filming in Vancouver
Filming for Season 2 of Off-Campus began on June 1, 2026, and is expected to wrap up by September 18. Production is taking place at North Shore Studios in Vancouver. All eight scripts were completed before filming began, and the expected release date is reportedly sometime in May 2027, which is the same timeframe as Season 1. There are, however, rumors that the show might be released weekly, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
Season 2 Will Feature a New Lead Couple
Season two is based on Elle Kennedy’s novel The Score, and will focus on a new lead couple: Dean Di Laurentis (Stephen Kalyn) and Allie Hayes (Mika Abdalla). YES! We were introduced to these icons during season one, and fans have become absolutely obsessed with their dynamic and charisma. Season 2 will pick up exactly where Season 1 left off, at the bar fight between Dean and Hunter.
New Faces Are Joining Briar U
That’s right! New (hot) faces will be gracing our screens in season 2 of Off Campus; a third love interest is finally entering the Briar U universe. India Fowler will play Grace Ivers, aka, John Logan’s love interest. Shay Rudolph will also be joining as Summer Di Laurentis (Dean’s sister), who will play a pivotal role in Allie’s and Dean’s relationship.
In fact, she has her own book, The Chase, which is the first book in the Off-Campus: Legacy spin-off series. If the first four seasons of Off-Campus perform well, the production team might just greenlight a spin-off series based on The Chase. FINGERS CROSSED!
Hannah and Garrett Are Not Going Anywhere
Lovebirds, Hannah and Garrett, will be back for Season 2, and according to Bright, she and Cameli will have a good amount of screen time and won’t just fully disappear. Amazing news for us, as we’ve been traumatized by Bridgerton couples disappearing into thin air after their season was done. Antonio Cipriano, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Charlie Evans, and Khobe Clarke will also be returning, so can I hear an amen?!
One Familiar Face Will Be Missing
Unfortunate news for Mika Abdalla and Josh Heuston fans: Josh will not be returning for Season 2 due to a scheduling conflict. However, showrunner Louisa Levy confirmed in an interview with TV Guide that the door remains open and he might be back for future seasons. But don’t fret, Mika and Josh are going strong in their relationship, and he’s still a part of what seems like a strong friendship group with his Off-Campus castmates.
‘Off Campus’ Season 3 — What We Know
According to Insneider, Season 3 has not officially been confirmed yet, but all signs point to Briar University staying open for business. Nothing has been officially confirmed or denied, but it seems like things are moving along very quickly. Reportedly, Season 3 will adapt The Mistake, Logan’s story. And based on the introduction of Grace Ivers’ character, the speculation seems to make sense.
What Comes After Season 3
If Season 3 adapts Logan’s story, Season 4 would follow Tucker and Sabrina based on The Goal. And if the spin-off series is greenlit, The Chase — Summer Di Laurentis’s own story — would be next. It’s refreshing to see a show move this quickly and deliver at least one season a year. Sorry to throw Bridgerton fans under the bus, but Off-Campus fans seem to be in better hands.
Briar University has four books worth of stories left to tell and a spin-off series waiting in the wings. If Prime Video plays this right, Off Campus could be running well into the decade — we would not complain about that at all.
Garrett and Hannah broke our hearts first. Dean and Allie are next. Logan and Tucker are coming. Yeah, Briar U is just getting started.
