Donna Kelce recently hit the red carpet for the premiere of Travis Kelce’s new show Grotesquerie, and was bombarded by reporters with questions about Taylor Swift. Mama Kelce, being the profesh mom-in-law that she is, revealed her thoughts in a very, let’s say, *obscure* way.
Donna was asked what her “favorite thing” about Taylor Swift is
Her reply:
“It’s still new. I don’t really have any profound thoughts or anything like that. We just have the best time cheering him on.” [via E News]

Taylor and Travis have been dating for over a year now, so fans had some *thoughts* about Donna’s use of the word “new.”
Still, Donna says Taylor’s family is ‘like home’
When Entertainment Tonight asked Donna about spending time with Taylor’s family, she said: “It’s still really, really new, and I really appreciate it. Wonderful people, very down to Earth, very Midwestern. Ohio and Pennsylvania are right next to each other, so we kind of understand each other, so it’s really kind of nice. It feels like home.”

Donna also spoke to Page Six, telling the magazine that she finds Travis’ relationship with Taylor “kind of interesting,” adding, “He’s a good guy. He really is. He’s good. He’s kind. He’s generous. And from what I understand, so is she. I hope they’re having a good time.”
On the same night, she also told Associated Press that she “admires” Taylor and considers her a “decent human being.”
Like I said, Donna’s responses are indeed very demure, very mindful, very coy? And I don’t blame her one bit. Mama Kelce is not coming across as the mother-in-law-from-hell, guys. She’s clearly just trying to respect Travis and Tay’s privacy. I mean, she knows that any little thing she says is going to be overanalyzed to hell. So keeping her thoughts about Taylor Swift very vague and generic is pretty fair if you ask me.
