Francesca Farago Says Influencers are Being Paid to Hate on Hailey Bieber

Francesca Farago just exposed the influencer matrix, and I am not okay.
francesca Farago reveals hailey bieber smear campaign

Look, I’m tired of all this Selena vs. Justin and Hailey drama as much as the next person, but this latest tea is too piping hot not to discuss…

Okayyy, so you know Francesca Farago — the baddie from Too Hot To Handle with the bombshell vibes and killer Insta game? Yeah, her. Well, sis just dropped a major bomb, and the internet (including me) is freaking out.

In a recent Snapchat story, Francesca revealed that there are actually people out there paying influencers to post shady content about Hailey Bieber.

Referring to a recent “trend” that mocks Hailey for allegedly stalking and stealing Justin Bieber prior to them dating, Francesca said,

“There’s this trend going on right now, being like, ‘When my boyfriend thinks we met organically’, and then the girl slides to a photo of Hailey, like laughing, ‘Ha Ha’. And it’s supposed to be like you’re the stalker. Everyone is calling themselves ‘Hailey’ because they stalked their men, and that’s how they got him. It’s a trend right now…”

Francesca didn’t drop any names, but she claimed that some influencers she knows have been offered money to hop on this Hailey hate train: “Sometimes, me and Jesse get paid to do trends on TikTok […] Creators are being paid to do that trend like making fun of Hailey.”

Commenting that she thinks the smear campaign against Hailey is “so mean,” Francesca added, “I just think that if it’s a trend taking off on its own, whatever, but the fact they’re paying creators to do the trend— It is making fun of her, and it’s not, because the girls are also making fun of themselves in a way.”

Like… what in the Gossip Girl is going on?

The Hailey Hate-Train has Been Ongoing

If you’re also one to live chronically online (not ashamed to admit that I very much am!), you would have noticed that Hailey’s been catching strays for a hot minute. Whether it’s the constant comparisons to Selena Gomez or people straight-up dragging her for existing, it’s like the girl can’t catch a break.

And here we are now finding out that some of that drama might be manufactured. I mean, here is just some of the Hailey slander that’s been circulating lately:

Just a few weeks ago, a TikToker shared a viral post showing Hailey liking a shady post about Selena and her fiancé Benny Blanco. Hailey’s reps shut down the claims and it was even rumored that she would be taking legal action against those who bad-mouth her.

Francesca Farago Turned Down Offer to Slander Hailey

Francesca, being the queen of transparency (and never one to back down from drama), straight-up said she refused to take part in it:

“I was offered a decent amount of money to do it, but I was like, ‘No!’. Even if it’s funny or lighthearted, but it’s lowkey not. Maybe I’m just being dramatic. I feel like, because she’s a new mom, it’s so mean to have this much hate on her.”

The reality TV star could’ve easily taken the check and posted a cryptic “lol imagine stalking someone’s man” tweet, but she didn’t. And we’ve got to respect her for that. You can watch Francesca’s full Snapchat story below:

Fans Recall Previous Hailey Bieber Smear Campaign

This isn’t the first time a smear campaign against Hailey has been “exposed.” In December last year, court files between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively (who are currently undergoing a legal dispute) were exposed to the public which featured Lively’s photo proof of Justin’s team wanting to recreate the same Hailey Bieber smear campaign against Blake Lively.

Although Baldoni’s lawyer denied Lively’s allegations, it’s funny how anohter story on targeted social media campaigns against Hailey has now come about.

Hailey married Justin Bieber in September 2018, six months after his final split with Selena Gomez. Ever since, the fanbases of both stars (Beliebers and Selenators) have been in a never-ending feud. Jelena stans still romanticize their on-and-off relationship, and have brought Hailey Bieber into the mix, making her the unofficial villain in this breakup saga. And honestly, it’s gotten way messier than it ever needed to be.

So, whether you’re Team Selena, Team Hailey, or just Team “let’s stop pitting women against each other in 2025,” this whole situation just reminds us that not everything we see online is real. Some of it might literally be sponsored by haters with Wi-Fi and a budget. Amirite?
