So if the main event is already being shaped like a Grammy-night spectacle, of course the bachelorette party is turning into an entire global storyline. This is Taylor Swift we’re talking about, not a quiet cabin weekend with matching robes.
Bridesmaids Are Clocked In: Selena, Gigi & A Whole Team of Women
Before we even got a peek at venue rumors, fans found out who jumped into bridesmaid duty first. Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid are reportedly on the team, which basically makes this the most iconic bridal squads in celebrity history.
According to the US Sun, Swift’s closest friends — plus both moms, Andrea Swift and Donna Kelce — have been “talking for the past two weeks, several times a week,” sorting out the earliest stages of planning. “Their commitment is incredibly solid,” the source said.
“They’re all having such a great time; they love the process, and it feels like a dream experience for them — all so excited to support their very close friend, their ‘sister,’ Taylor.”
And get this: the bridal party (ies) will allegedly occur in the upcoming months!
Taylor’s Bachelorette Weekend… Actually, Tour
Instead of picking one destination and calling it a day, Swift’s circle is reportedly planning a mini world tour. Yep, the bridal girlies are going multi-city. “The excitement is massive,” as plans begin for a string of bachelorette-style trips with stops rumored from Nashville to Italy. “It’s a truly fun experience for everyone already involved,” the source added.
And that’s not all. The getaway rotation allegedly includes New York City, Tennessee and the Bahamas, too.
The insider claims her bridesmaids have “at least three or four girls’ trips or bachelorette-style getaways” planned, with Swift hosting them herself.
“The goal is to have fun, spend weekends together, and enjoy the process while also working on the planning in beautiful locations where they can relax, celebrate, and bond,” the source told the outlet.
So yeah, forget a night out, Taylor’s bachelorette is giving passport stamps, Aperol spritz, and matching sunglasses!
Selena Is Bringing Married-Girl Wisdom, Gigi Is the OG
Let’s not forget Taylor was with Selena through every step on her wedding day, so no surprise she’s going to be bringing all her newlywed hacks to her best friend’s big weekend. The Scared of Loving You singer is reportedly excited to “bring ideas and suggestions” for Tay’s wedding “to make it the best experience possible for her best friend.”
Meanwhile, Gigi Hadid (who has been ride-or-die for Taylor since the 1989 days) is helping shape the early planning phases. The crew is allegedly scheduling check-ins across Nashville, Los Angeles, and New York while they sort out the blueprint.
I can only imagine somewhere, a wedding planner is sipping tea and whispering “please just pick one.”
