Some fans believe BLACKPINK’s LISA is cashing in on the perks of dating a billionaire (wouldn’t we all?). Ever since her solo debut, she’s been bagging gigs left and right—Victoria’s Secret, the VMAs, a role in The White Lotus, and most recently, an Oscars performance (Mar 2).

LISA has always been the most famous member of BLACKPINK, but her packed schedule has raised a few eyebrows—especially since her French boyfriend, Frédéric Arnault, just so happens to have very relevant connections in fashion, music, film, and sports (you see where this is going).
One major red flag for some? LISA landing a spot on Vanity Fair’s Hollywood Issue. Unlike the other actors who featured in the star-studded issue (who have extensive resumes), LISA has never acted before.
Her Oscars performance also had people side-eyeing, given that Frédéric’s company, LVMH, has been a longtime sponsor of the event.
Some even believe his influence played a role in LISA’s collabs with luxury brands and her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show performance—his company (LVMH) is literally in that industry.
Fans clapped back, though. Loyal stans of the singer insist LISA’s success is all down to her own hard work, pointing out that both The Academy Awards and Vanity Fair must have recognized her talent themselves.

So, who exactly is Frédéric Arnault? Well, he’s none other than the (very rich) CEO of LVMH LVMH Watches, which oversees brands like Zenith, Hublot, and TAG Heuer.
Most of Arnault’s family members are also CEOs for LVMH luxury brands including Tiffany & Co., Christian Dior, and Louis Vuitton, which makes their net worth a casual $187.2 billion. NO BIGGIE!
While the relationship hasn’t been officially confirmed, rumors say LISA and Frédéric’s romance began in 2022, when the billionaire attended a BLACKPINK concert and even shared a pic with the group.
Since then, the two have been spotted all over the world—including in Paris, Hawaii, and Japan. They even pulled up together at an F1 event in Miami and at The White Lotus premiere in Thailand… on Valentine’s Day.
One thing’s for sure: LISA is insanely talented and doesn’t need anyone’s help to shine. But hey, what’s the harm in enjoying a few billionaire perks every now and then?
