Yep, it’s true, Pop Tellers. Gigi (30) and Bella Hadid (28) just dropped a bombshell — they have a secret half-sister named Aydan Nix. She’s 23, super stylish, and lowkey looks like she walked out of a Hadid family photo shoot. Here’s all the deets:
So… Who Is Aydan Nix?
Aydan is a fashion designer, stylist, and aspiring influencer based in NYC. She just graduated from the Parsons School of Design (urm, major slay), and has been working her way up in the fashion world with internships and side gigs, including selling vintage at Harley’s in Manhattan.

How Is She Related to the Hadids?
Aydan is the daughter of Mohamed Hadid — Gigi and Bella’s dad — and a woman named Terri Hatfield Dull. The two had a brief romance after Mohamed split from Yolanda Hadid in 2001.
“Over 20 years ago, our dad, while single, had a brief relationship that led to a pregnancy,” Gigi and Bella said in a statement to the Daily Mail.
They emphasized that the relationship happened when Mohamed was not married, and that the family didn’t know about Aydan until very recently.
Did Aydan Know She Was a Hadid?
Not at all. Aydan was born and raised in Florida, and she grew up thinking someone else was her dad — until he sadly passed away when she was 19.
“[She] grew up with the man she lovingly knew as her father until his sudden passing when she was 19,” Gigi and Bella explained.
After that, Aydan got curious about her roots and took a DNA test — which ended up linking her to the Hadid family. Total plot twist moment.
When Did They All Meet?
The Hadid sisters said they “first connected with Aydan in late 2023,” and the vibes were instantly warm.
“The three of us connected and embraced Aydan with open arms,” they shared. “We’ve cherished this unexpected and beautiful addition to our family.”
They also said they’ve had a lot of heart-to-hearts with their new sis: “As siblings, we’ve had many open and loving conversations — with Aydan included — about how to support and protect her.”
What’s Her Life Been Like?
Aydan was kind of that girl in high school — cheerleader, honor roll, worked summers delivering Domino’s Pizza (she’s a real one). She went on to move to New York to pursue fashion, and hasn’t looked back since.
While studying at Parsons, she interned with stylists and photographers, and worked retail to keep things moving. Now, she’s starting to make her name in the industry.
Has Mohamed Acknowledged Her?
So far, Mohamed hasn’t made a public statement — but sources told the Daily Mail that he’s aware of Aydan and has had contact with her.
“There’s mutual respect,” a source said. “But there’s also discretion.”
Apparently, he was even expected to attend her college graduation but canceled about a week before.
While he hasn’t provided financial support, the vibe seems cordial, not hostile.
Is She Close With the Rest of the Hadid Fam?
Sounds like it. Gigi and Bella confirmed that Aydan has spent time with all of them — including Mohamed and their brother Anwar, plus older half-sisters Marielle and Alana from Mohamed’s first marriage.
Still, Gigi and Bella made one thing very clear: Aydan values her privacy and isn’t trying to be the next tabloid sensation.
“She continues her life as a young woman in New York,” they said, adding, “We ask that you please honor her wish and right to her anonymity.”
