The so-called “City of Angels” is currently up in flames. Los Angeles is battling the worst wildfire in history, with over 2,000 hectares blazing out of control. As firefighters battle to save the community, big Hollywood events like The Critics Choice Awards and Jimmy Kimmel’s show have had to hit pause — or were straight-up canceled.

The wildfires spread at record speed due to an intense windstorm — think hurricane-level chaos — forcing over 70,000 people to evacuate their homes. Among them? A bunch of celebs who live in the bougie neighborhood of Pacific Palisades and nearby areas.

Below, we share a list of famous stars whose luxurious homes sadly didn’t survive the blaze:

Celebrities Whose Homes Have Burned Down in the 2025 Wildfires

1. Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag

This iconic reality TV duo went through some drama while evacuating their Los Angeles hillside home — and documented it all on social media. In a series of TikTok videos, Heidi got emotional, saying, “Sad our house is gone, everything you worked so hard for…” Meanwhile, Pratt shared that his childhood home, where his parents still lived, was completely destroyed.

2. Mandy Moore

Actress Mandy Moore and her three kids had to make a quick escape from their Pasadena home valued at $6 million, as the flames spread crazy fast. She took to social media to share that her family and pets were safe, thanking everyone for their support: “Grateful for the kindness of friends that we had a place to land last night (…) Praying for everyone in our beautiful city. So gutted for the destruction and loss. Don’t know if our place made it.”

3. Anna Faris

The wildfire didn’t just take out Anna Faris’ $5 million mansion in the upscale Palisades area — it wiped out the entire neighborhood, forcing the whole block to evacuate. The actress and comedian lived there with her husband, Michael, and their kids and stepkids.

A rep told HELLO! magazine [via People] that Anna and her family “are safe and grateful.”

Although they fled safely, this famous couple had to watch live footage of their home burning, thanks to TMZ, who published heartbreaking videos of their charred $6.5 million property — its roof swallowed by flames, rooms reduced to rubble, and shattered windows everywhere.

Leighton and Adam purchased the house in 2019 and lived there with their two young children.

Anthony Hopkins also had to make a quick escape from his home in the upscale Pacific Palisades neighborhood. The stunning $6 million colonial-style house was completely destroyed.

This isn’t the first time the 87-year-old actor has faced wildfires — back in 2000 and 2018, Hopkins saw other properties damaged by similar tragedies.
