Another reason why Taylor got booed at the Super Bowl could be because of her friendship with Blake Lively. The actress, who attended the 2024 Super Bowl with Tay, is currently caught up in a legal battle with Justin Baldoni over defamation and harassment claims. The case has been dragging on for months, and Blake’s public image has definitely taken a hit.
Throughout the case, Blake supposedly “used” the fact that she has powerful people in her corner (cough Taylor cough), which dragged Swift into the center of it all. Fans were speculating whether Taylor would invite Blake to her VIP suite like in previous years—but Blake’s absence pretty much answered that question.
